Fringing the Andaman sea, Koyao Bay Pavilions opens directly onto the spectacular panorama of Bileh’s islands: the craggy limestone formations rise from the horizon, inviting to further sea adventures and island discovery.

The beach itself extend in front of the villas, just by the resort's gardens. It is continued up north by cliffs covered by rain forest. Quiet and secluded, well preserved and kept as wild as originally, the beach is the realm of Sea Eagles, Hornbills (Kalao birds), Egrets and many other birds species.

There, you will probably enjoy to swim in the morning. You might as well decide to laze on the beach in the afternoon, cooled by the balmy breeze under the

ur three pavilions and each private Thai-style sala are spacious, airy and filled with with antique furniture and all amenities for your comfort. They open directly onto a lush tropical garden planted with many native species of trees, palms and flowers, orchids.

Close to the sea, a natural swimming pool of smooth shape offers its fresh and clear water. Combined, Koyao Bay Pavilions offers a rare and environmentally sensitive ensemble: Discreet, smart, integrated building that focuses on fitting in to natural surroundings, offering guests a true taste of tropical luxury.

Behind the villas is the clubhouse (dining and cocktail lounge) overlooking our rice fields, and with a view to inland mountains and forests. Green and fresh, soothing on the eyes and relaxation for the mind.

It is the place to meet with friends, other guests and our staff and guides. Here you will receive all the information you need about the resort and the island. You will find there books & maps to highlight your next day excursion program as well as movies and slideshows giving insights of places to be visited.

Despite some billboards recently installed on the island, Koh Yao Noi remains a beautiful island, where most people still believe that the island should be preserved from human degradation.

Koh Yao Noi is one of the larger islands in Phang Nga Bay, an archipelago of 44 islands. It is easily accessible from both Phuket and Krabi Provinces and sports some of the most beautiful sea scenery in South East Asia.

Sea Gypsies (Moken people) where inhabiting the Bay before anybody else, except maybe other nomadic people like forest hunters and collectors (Sakai, Negritos).

Koh Yao Noi is ideally situated to easily visit and discover by boat excursions the many spots of interest situated nearby: Phuket, Phang Nga Bay, Krabi and Ao Luk, Pee Pee Islands. Despite its vicinity with international tourist destinations, Koh Yao Noi remains an unspoiled and well preserved destination.

Koh Yao Noi has only a small selection of accommodation for visitors. No rowdy bars or shopping malls, no crowds and no traffic jams. Here is a place to unwind, take it easy and learn a little about the way of life of these friendly and interesting people.

The unique configuration of Phang Nga Bay is said to have been created long ago when a mythical Dragon, the Naga, rushed from West to East to marry the Princess of Krabi. During his rush to get to the Princess’s palace he split and broke rocks and islands, scattering them everywhere.
